Arena football: Blaze logo becomes part of new AF1
West Valley City ยป Indoor arena football has a new league yet, on the surface, somewhat of an old look. The Utah Blaze logo returns as a member of the AF1, a 16-team league that includes six teams from the disbanded Arena Football League and seven from the AFL’s farm league ArenaFootball2.

The five college football conferences that don’t get automatic bids to the Bowl Championship Series will receive a record $24 million from this year’s bowl games, according to BCS figures obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
