Pirates Fall 7-2, Extend Losing Streak To 18 Years
It’s official. An entire generation of Pittsburghers have yet to see the Pirates have a winning season. With Friday night’s 7-2 loss to the New York Mets, the Pirates clinched their 18th straight losing season, meaning anyone born in the year after Sid Bream beat Barry Bonds’ throw home to win the National League pennant, is now a legal adult.
