Cats rule according to the estimated 77.6 million feline households in the USA and the search is on to find America?s Purrfect Feline (APF). The pageant created to determine America?s Cat. The competition is patterned after the well-known national pageants. The unique factor is that the contestants are not humans but felines.

The first phase of America?s Purrfect Feline allows cats from various neighborhoods across the nation to compete for local titles online and through mail entries. The owners of the felines will pay a nominal entry fee with a portion of the collected fees targeted for the administration of:

(PRWEB) December 14, 2005

As the 2005 NFL playoff race moves along, one can see that this year?s NFL playoffs will still have a few surprises in the mix. Todd Lokken of Strategic Fantasy Football takes a look at each division, along with the conference wild-card spots.

In the NFC East, the New York Giants lead the way at 9-4. Look for the Giants to go 2-1 the rest of the way, with wins over Washington and Oakland, while losing to Kansas City. The Giants at 11-5 will win the NFC East. Dallas is up next at 8-5, and Lokken forecasts Dallas to beat Carolina and St. Louis, and lose to Washington to wind up 10-6 and in the wild-card hunt. Washington is currently 7-6, and should go 2-1 in the last 3 (beating Philadelphia and Dallas, losing to the Giants). A 9-7 final record will not be enough to get the Redskins into the playoffs.

In the NFC North, the Chicago Bears appeared to be a lock for the playoffs about a month ago. However, a hot streak by the Minnesota Vikings and a glaring weakness exposed on the Bears has put the team in jeopardy of actually missing the playoffs. The Bears currently sit at 9-4, and Lokken sees them losing their last 3 to Atlanta, Green Bay, and Minnesota to finish at 9-7. 9-7 will not win the division, nor will it get the Chicago Bears to the playoffs. On the other hand, the hot Vikings should finish 2-1 and equal the Bears 9-7 record. The Vikings will lose to Pittsburgh, beat Baltimore, and then beat the Bears on New Year?s Day to clinch the division on tiebreakers.

A look at the NFC West, Seattle could potentially finish at astonishing 14-2 (winning its last 12 games). Regardless, Seattle has already clinched the division, and is in the playoffs. No other team in the NFC West has a chance.

Up next is the NFC South, where three teams are battling for essentially two playoff spots?a division winner, and most likely the other NFC wild-card team (along with Dallas). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers are currently tied at 9-4, with the Atlanta Falcons close behind. Lokken sees Tampa losing to both New England and Atlanta, while beating New Orleans on the last day of the season to wind up at 10-6. The Panthers are expected to go 1-2 also, losing to both Dallas and Atlanta while beating the New Orleans Saints. This should bring the Carolina final record to 10-6, matching the Buccaneers. Finally, the Atlanta Falcons should win their last four to wind up at 11-5, thereby winning the division.

Therefore, in the NFC, we have Dallas, Tampa Bay, and Carolina fighting it out, and based on tiebreak scenarios, look for Dallas and Tampa Bay to be the wild cards for the NFC.

In the AFC, the picture is a little clearer. In the AFC East, New England sits at 8-5, and should win their last 3 to finish up at 11-5. This will sow up the division, as no other team is close to even a wild-card slot.

Turning to the AFC North, Cincinnati has a two game lead at 10-3, and Lokken sees Cincinnati beating Detroit and Buffalo, and then losing its final game to Kansas City to finish up 12-4. Cincinnati will win the AFC North. Pittsburgh, two games behind at 8-5 and coming off of a crushing of the Chicago Bears, needs help to make the playoffs. However, a soft schedule should put the Steelers in the playoffs, as they should go 3-0 against Minnesota, Cleveland, and Detroit.

In the AFC West, Denver is in control with a 10-3 record. The Broncos should win against Buffalo and Oakland, while losing its final game against San Diego. The 12-4 record will put Denver into the playoffs. San Diego, currently sitting at 8-5, has a very tough road ahead. Starting with a must win game against Indianapolis, the Chargers then go to Kansas City, and then home against Denver. Look for San Diego to somehow go 2-1, and give them a 10-6 record. Lokken says San Diego beats Indianapolis this weekend (ending the Colts? perfect season), loses to Kansas City in week 16, and then beats Denver in week 17.

Finally in the AFC West, Kansas City is in the hunt also with an 8-5 record, and should win their final 3 (against the NY Giants, San Diego Chargers, and Cincinnati Bengals) to finish up at 11-5.

Lastly, there is the AFC South, where Indianapolis has clinched everything with its perfect 13-0 start. Look for the Colts to start cruising and resting players, and for that reason, Todd Lokken says the Chargers should beat the Colts this weekend. The Colts will also most likely lose to Seattle in week 16, and then beat the hapless Arizona Cardinals to wind up the season 14-2. Jacksonville, the only other team in the playoff hunt (despite losing its starting quarterback), currently sits at 9-4. The Jaguars should have no problem beating San Francisco, Houston, and Tennessee in their final 3 games to finish up at 12-4.

That leaves one AFC wild card in the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars at 12-4; Pittsburgh and Kansas City will tie at 11-5, with the wild-card going to Kansas City based upon a better conference record.

The NFC division winners: Seattle, Minnesota, New York, and Atlanta. NFC wild cards: Dallas and Tampa Bay.

The AFC division winners: Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Denver, and New England. AFC wild cards: Jacksonville and Kansas City.

“It should be a fantastic playoffs”, says Lokken. When asked for a Super Bowl winner, Lokken replied, ?Well, I just don?t see anyone beating Indianapolis.?

It is a fact of life for bettors that seeking out legitimate, useful handicapping material frequently puts us on the radar screen for all the scamsters and frauds that pollute the sports-betting landscape.

So when we get an opportunity to tap into expertise offered by a professional whose credentials are impeccable, and whose experience is studded with solid achievement and success, we grab at the brass ring. And when it is offered with no strings, no sales pitch and no charge, we jump on it with both feet.

Due to a serendipitous confluence of events, we are delighted to report that Russ Culver, a highly regarded sharp with a long history of coming out ahead in the never-ending conflict with bookmakers, has agreed to provide EOG with exclusive free sports wagering content. Under the arrangement, Culver will post handicapping insight and tips including, but not limited to, picks throughout baseball season, and ideally he will extend into football as well.

Since we don’t wish to sound like a hypemeister, we’ll not detail Culver’s illustrious career as a kick-ass bookmaker, oddsmaker and bettor. We’ll simply say that his r

Schaumburg, IL (PRWEB) September 30, 2005

There are a lot of great contests this week, and picking out sleepers is very difficult.

Strategic Fantasy Football considers a sleeper “someone who is not in a fantasy lineup every week”, according to Todd Lokken, company President. “A sleeper is not someone who starts every week who suddenly has a fantastic game. That is expected to happen. A sleeper is someone you plug into your lineup, and they then score some nice points for the week”.

First up, we have Houston at Cincinnati, and the Bengals are on a roll. They destroyed a good Chicago Bears defense last week, and now they take on struggling Houston. In this game, look for TJ Houshmandzadeh to score some nice points this week. Houshmandzadeh was quiet last week against the Bears (although he did have a TD nullified by a penalty), and should get good points against the Texans.

Next, we travel to the late game of San Francisco versus Arizona. Arizona, who many people believed would finally turn into a playoff team this year, has been a mess. San Francisco, on the other hand, was expected to be terrible, and they have played well versus both St. Louis and Dallas. Therefore, look for San Francisco to have a productive evening in Mexico City (where this game is being played), and for Brandon Lloyd to be the second sleeper of the week. Lloyd is a third year receiver, and is starting to come into his own despite the turmoil surrounding 49er quarterbacks.

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2006

While Estate Planning in general, and Living Trusts in particular have become standard for the baby boomer generation, some estimates say that up to 74% of Americans still die without a will. This leaves it up to family members to deal with dissolving and distributing the estate. Studies show that most of us have not written down how we would like our assets to be distributed after our death, thereby increasing the likelihood of probate.

?Anyone who has had a close relative pass away has probably heard off probate?, says Patrick Z. Riley, a San Francisco East Bay probate specialist. ?And it seems most have heard of at least one probate horror story. Newspaper headlines such as:

?Cincinnati Bengals Probate Fight?, or ?Thirty-Four Years After His Death, Jimi Hendrix?s Estate Was Still In Court?, and many others we have seen over the years certainly reinforce the idea that probate can be a major headache. And to make matters worse, since probate is a public process, all of the information becomes public record, making heirs targets for con artists and scammers.

In our 21 years of experience, we know that hardly anyone has a clear picture of what probate is, what it entails, why it is necessary, and how to navigate through the process quickly and easily. We also appreciate the fact that calling a lawyer can be intimidating and scary. People often find themselves having to deal with it unexpectedly, and all too often during a very emotionally draining time. This is especially true when the administrator also has to deal with complex financial issues and uncooperative family members. And not knowing your way around the court system can make the whole deal painfully slow and very costly?, says Mr. Riley. ?That is what compelled us, as a service to the public, to create a couple of FREE resources: http://www.probatequestions.org, and an information hotline (800) 929-9750. Both resources will provide plain English answers to the most commonly asked questions about probate in California. They also teach what questions to ask to when shopping for an attorney.?

In spite of the abundance of information available today, we found what is missing are answers to what probate is, why and when it is necessary, what the process is and how much it will cost; in an easy to digest format?, says Mr. Riley. ?http://www.probatequestions.org and (800) 929-9750 were designed to fill that need.?

Mr. Riley has been a probate, trust and estate planning specialist in the State of California for 21 years and can be reached at (510) 286-9970. He maintains offices in Oakland and Fremont. For more information about Patrick Z. Riley go to: http://www.pzriley.com.

(PRWEB) September 8, 2005

Have you ever wondered what makes the point spread on a football game move from -3 to -3.5? Do you want to know the inside line on these moves before the games even kick off? Well here’s your chance.

Throughout the entire football season, PinnacleSports.com will aim to provide readers of this column with an unprecedented insight into the point spread movement on key games each week.

Widely recognized as the largest online sports book in the world, Pinnacle Sports is known for taking action from all players big or small. Whether it’s $ 10 or $ 10,000, Pinnacle Sports has earned an industry leading reputation for being the destination of choice for both seasoned professionals and sports betting novices alike.

By posting our betting lines early with odds that offer up to 60% better value than other sportsbooks – when the line moves on a game – it always happens first at PinnacleSports.com.

Each week I’ll take a look at a handful of NFL and college games and let you know if it’s the public or pros that are causing the line movement, how big the moves are and if we expect any further movement before the game kicks off. Sports betting is a business of information, so I’m hoping that the information in this column will help you find a smarter way to bet at Pinnacle Sports.

New Orleans Saints (+7) at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers opened as a 5 point favorite before the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The Saints recently announced that its home opener on September 18th would not be in New Orleans, and that all home games might be played away from the Superdome.

There are big questions about the Saints’ ability to focus on football, and this has driven a flood of mainly public money on the Panthers. However, the Saints played well on the road last year, going 6-1 against the spread when playing as a “road dog”. Additionally, there has been very little action by the wise-guys, who might be waiting for closer to game time in hopes of getting New Orleans at +7.5.

Oakland Raiders (+7.5) at New England Patriots

Superbowl champions are 6-14 against the spread on the first game of the year since 1985. These matchups are classic cases of sharp v. square money. Last year, the volume of professional players outweighed public money for the first time ever on the Patriots-Colts game (which opened at -3.5, closed at -3, and landed on the “3″). Again, we are seeing a lot of public money on the Superbowl Champion Patriots.

This game is a dangerous one for us to book at -104 pricing, due to the spread being so close to the 7. If a player takes Oakland +7.5 -104, and the line moves to New England -7 -104, he has virtually a risk-free chance of winning if the game lands on the 7. It is the big games with middle possibilities like this one that cause the bookies to lose sleep at night.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns O/U 44

This total opened at 44.5, and was bet down to 43.5 earlier in the week. Another wave of money played over 43.5, making the “44″ – one of the most common totals in the NFL – a bad number for the house. As a general rule of thumb, 3 field goals and either 3, 4, 5 or 6 TDS result in the most commonly occurring totals. It is not unusual to see totals gravitate towards certain key numbers like 37, 44 and 51 which act as “stopping points”. If a sharp player has an opinion on the game, he does not want to play it once the line has moved and a key number is now a losing number for his position.

#23 Notre Dame (+7) at #3 Michigan

Notre Dame is a unique phenomenon in college football. Whenever they win their first game, the bettors come out in droves to back them. The Fighting Irish looked impressive last week against Pittsburgh, with a variety of short passes, a poised Brady Quinn who frequently scrambled for large gains and Darius Walker, who rushed for 100 yards.

This game opened at Notre Dame +8, and was quickly bet down to +7. When a line moves early in the week, it is usually from sharp money. This is more often the case when the sharps like a public team as they want to get their plays in before public money forces the line to creep down. I expect a lot of public money on Notre Dame as we near the weekend and the game could even close as low as +6 at some sportsbooks.

#2 Texas (+1) at #7 Ohio State

Elite teams from the Big-10 and the Big-12 square off in an early match-up between these two perennial football powerhouses. Ohio State returns 18 starters and has two competent quarterbacks in Justin Zwick and Troy Smith. Texas returns only 16 starters including QB Vince Young, while their star running back Cedric Benson is now in the NFL.

Both teams looked impressive last week – Ohio State led Miami (Ohio) 34-0 before heavy substitutions in the 4th quarter and Texas won 60-3 against U.L. Lafayette with a run-dominated attack. Texas however had one unexpected deficiency in last week’s victory – kicker Richmond McGee missed 3 extra points. Early sharp money was on Ohio State, which opened as a one point underdog. In a tight game, a single missed extra-point makes BOTH teams more likely to win by exactly one or two – a missed PAT is often followed by a failed 2-pt. conversion attempt or field-goal. If either team wins by exactly one, those early Ohio State backers will be patting themselves on the back for beating the line move.

For action on these and all the other great games being played this weekend, visit Pinnacle Sports at http://www.pinnaclesports.com and find a smarter way to bet with odds up to 60% better value than other sports books.
