This week’s top 2 surprises came from the NFC East, where Dallas WR Terry Glenn and Eagles backup RB Ryan Moats posted impressive stat lines for week 14. Glenn, almost out of football a couple of years ago, is resurrecting his career under Bill Parcells (his former mentor in New England). Glenn posted 6 catches for 138 yards and a touchdown, plus a rushing touchdown.

?It?s surprising to see Glenn do much of anything, considering the fact he was an absolute bust in Green Bay and struggled his first couple of years in Dallas,? says Todd Lokken, President of Strategic Fantasy Football.

Ryan Moats, on the other hand, was expected to have a decent stats week, but nobody expected him to perform as well as Brian Westbrook, the Eagles starting RB. Moats thrashed the New York Giants with 114 yards rushing on only 11 carries while scoring 2 touchdowns. ?It appears as if Philadelphia may get lucky and not miss Westbrook at all,? says Lokken.

Up in Green Bay, another fantastic story continues with Packer RB Samkon Gado. Gado, up against another weak defense, ran for 171 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions. In fact, the 171 yards by Gado is a Green Bay Packer rookie record, which is quite an accomplishment considering the history of the franchise.

Another rookie RB coming to life was Cadillac Williams, who helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers steamroll the Carolina Panthers 20-10. Williams, who started out strong with three straight 100-yard rushing games early this year, had slowed down quite a bit here in the middle of the season. However, as the games wind down, Williams seems to have found a second wind, and has put up over 400 yards in the last 4 weeks. Against the Panthers in week 14, Williams was good for 29 rushes, 112 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

The last running back on this week?s list for surprise performers is Jerome Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not only did the Steeler offense manhandle a tremendous Chicago Bear defense, but Bettis took the team on his back and led them to victory. In the snow and mud of Pittsburgh, Bettis rushed for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns.

?Considering the fact that Bettis had not reached 60 yards rushing in any game this year, his performance in week 14 was spectacular and astonishing,? says Lokken.

Contest Winner Turns Giant Barbecue Grill into Rolling Sports Bar

Charlottesville, VA October 22, 2008 — With his 17-foot barbecue trailer now sporting a flat-panel TV and a monstrous audio system, Michael Seville tempts many a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan to miss the opening kickoff.

When he heard about Crutchfield’s “You Dream It, We’ll Help You Built It – Taligate Dreams?” contest Michael, a resident of Deland, Florida, knew he had the perfect excuse to knock the rust off of the barbecue trailer he inherited from his father. For years, the trailer was a big part of his family’s concession business, but it had been sitting idle for quite some time.

Entrants were challenged by the Crutchfield team to submit the most unique idea for a tailgate entertainment system using the world-class A/V gear currently available for purchase at http://www.crutchfield.com. Michael was pleasantly surprised to learn that he had been selected as a finalist, but then reality set in. To win the grand prize, he would have to build the system and submit photos within four weeks.

“I went to work quickly and quickly found out I was in for much more than originally planned,” Michael said. “The trailer was pretty much full of rotten wood and would have to be rebuilt from the ground up. My good friend John really stepped up and helped me tear into the project. After completely removing the wood, we had another surprise waiting for us. A 3-foot section of the frame had significant rust and would need some welding before we could begin the build up! urggg!”

After many late nights and long hours Michael and John finally had everything together and cranked it up on the day of the deadline.

“WOOHOO! I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with the end result.” Michael said. “The system sounds amazing! The picture on the Samsung TV is even better than expected.”

Fan reaction to the trailer has been “consistently jaw-dropping,” he said. “! I love the look on the faces of people who see it. I even had a buddy bring me a whole beer tap set-up and say, ‘Here you go! This thing calls for a beer tap.’ “

Armed with only two prototypes in hand, and no actual nets to sell, the brothers demonstrated their new net design to the audience of industry professionals. As the only training net in the world that automatically returns a ball to a athlete, Paul and Matt’s design wowed the audience.

The brothers’ golf net can safely absorb golf shots in excess of 225 mph, gently returning the ball to the tee. The industry also loved the “Instant Shot Feedback”, providing golfers insight into each shot they take. Football Shrink Making MPI Scores Public During all NFL Playoff Games

In 2003 the Oakland Raiders were favored to win easily over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The MPI, however, indicated that Tampa Bay was performing at a much higher level than Oakland.
