Todd Lokken from Strategic Fantasy Football Reports Top 5 Surprise Fantasy Stars for the NFL?s Week 4

Algonquin, IL (PRWEB) October 5, 2005

Eli Manning finally had a breakout game, and naturally, some receiver had to tag along. This week, Plaxico Burress rode the hot hand of Eli Manning and recorded a surprising 10 receptions for 204 yards with 2 touchdowns in a win over the St. Louis Rams. Not too bad for a player in Coach Tom Caughlin?s doghouse. While Manning is coming into his own, the jury is still out on Burress, as he has continuously underachieved since his early days in Pittsburgh. ?He is far to inconsistent to count on week in and week out?, says Todd Lokken, President of Strategic Fantasy Football.

The second big surprise of the week was Joey Galloway from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Galloway, a former star with the Seattle Seahawks, had 7 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs win over the Detroit Lions. This year, Tampa seems to be back on the road to the playoffs, and Galloway is a key factor in the Buc resurgence.

Next up is Anquan Boldin, who finally got on track (along with the rest of the Arizona Cardinals) with 8 catches, 116 yards, and 1 touchdown in a 31-14 pasting of the San Francisco 49ers. Lokken says, ?if the Cardinals get their act together, they can still be a factor in the playoff picture this year?.

On the flip side, there were also players who scored surprisingly low points this week, starting with Bryan Westbrook of the Philadelphia Eagles, After a huge game in week 3, Westbrook had only 15 yards rushing and 33 yards receiving while the Eagles destroyed the Kansas City defense. Finally, the last disappointing surprise of the week was Rod Smith of the Denver Broncos, who caught only 4 balls for 33 yards in the Denver victory.

Rickie Winslow’s R.O.W.D.Y Foundation and One Man Game Entertainment Schedule May 5th Press Conference

Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 4, 2004

The R.O.W.D.Y. Foundation’s Rickie Winslow and One Man Game Entertainment’s Abraham Woods is expected to officially announce its celebrity street ball tournament which features Phillip Champion aka Hot Sauce.

Hot Sauce is one of the most popular growing streetballers ever. He started off on the And1 Mix Tape, Volume III, was seen on the ESPN TV show, “Streetball”, in the video game “Street Hoops” and now this 6’1, 170lb point guard has become a playground legend all over America. He has embarrassed the likes of Pittsburg Pirates-Derek Bell, Cleveland Indians-Kenny Lofton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’- Jaquez Green and Reidel Anthony, and not to mention all of the baller’s on the And1 mixtape.

Sauce is silky smooth in everything he does on the court, with a wingspan that makes his cross over extremely effective. His flamboyant game and his incredible on-the-fly creativity keeps defenders from playing him too closely and has made him the most asked about street balla since Rafer “Skip To My Lou” Alston. He claims to have over one hundred moves, and has even given them colorful names like his most famous, “Boomerang”, “The Hypnotizer” and the “Slow MO Cross”, where he hits you with fast crossovers and then all of a sudden his whole body slows to a crawl. Phillip Champion currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Celebrity athletes to include from the And1 Mixtapes, 50, Baby Shaq, Birdman and Silk from the hit movie “He’s Got Game”. Also to include local rappers Kiotti, MC Qua, Mike Jones, Pow Wow, Lil Troy and T2, with celebrity invited guests Wreck Shop Records, Aaron Glenn, Jonathon Ogden and Steve Francis.

The tournament will benefit the R.O.W.D.Y. Foundation, scholarships at Texas Southern University and the TSU bookstore. Tip off is at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 9th in the Texas Southern University’s HP & E Arena.

Free NFL Draft Preview Online At MADDUXSPORTS.com

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 24, 2007

The experts at MadduxSports.com have created a full NFL draft preview for all 32 of the National League Football teams. Included in the preview of each team is information on their 2006 season, areas of need, and projected players and positions that each team will be looking to acquire this Saturday. For those desiring more information, links are provided to each team’s NFL team page, as well as the current odds to win the 2007 superbowl.

“The free draft overviews,” notes Sal Selvaggio the President of Maddux Sports, “is just one of the valuable bits and pieces a bettor and or fan can access at our website. At MadduxSports.com we know that quality information on the incoming college players are an essential part of gauging the teams’ prospects for the upcoming season.”

And Maddux Sports knows the college game well. In 2006, Maddux Sports beat out 87 other of the nations best handicappers winning the NCAA football handicapping championship. In doing so they posted a dazzling 63.1 percent win rate with their free college football picks to shred the competition.

Concerning the NFL draft, one major question is whether or not the Oakland Raiders will draft a quarterback with the first pick or will try to fill another area. This is a year where the most talented player in the draft (Georgia Tech’s wide receiver Calvin Johnson) could fall all the way to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at number 4 just because of team needs.

Selvaggio observes that, “the information provided on the 2007 NFL draft will aid bettors in making smart wagers on teams for the upcoming season. When wagering money on a football contest a bettor should never play a team based on a hunch and have all the information to make an informed decision. Those who succeed in beating the sportsbook long term do so by utilizing the best resources obtainable.”

For those looking for that extra edge that will give sports bettors the best chance possible of winning, Maddux Sports handicappers provides the finest handicapping services at weekly, monthly, seasonal and yearly rates. In the last four years those subscribing to the college and NFL Full Season Picks Package have made on average per season from $ 5,670 (for $ 100/unit players) to $ 28,350 (for $ 500/unit players).

“It’s important to realize,” Selvaggio says, “that if you want to make money while wagering, you need to treat sports betting as a means of investment. Results should be judged over the long run. At Maddux Sports, we’re focused on value, superiority and success, so we use the finest handicappers specializing in NFL picks to beat the point spread.”

Real Estate Investors Take In New Strategy During Slow Year New; ‘Flip Factor’ Book Reveals Wholesaling Strategies Used by NFL coach to Earn $45,000 in 45 days

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) June 7, 2007

A new book by renowned investment innovator Preston Ely is teaching investors how to profit in an otherwise slow year. “Flip Your Way To Financial Freedom” shows both veteran and aspiring investors how to earn big returns when most other investment strategies are stagnant.

“There’s no question about it, 2007 has been a terrible year for most real estate professionals. My methods have repeatedly proven themselves to be winners even in this lackluster environment. The demand for this information has been staggering,” Ely said.

Until recently, Ely’s students paid $ 5,000 to learn his investing secrets. Now, with the publication of Ely’s new book, his most important strategies are now available to the public for the first time.

Ely starts by telling readers what kind of investors are making impressing money this year. He then proceeds to illustrate in detail how to put the popular “Rich Dad Poor Dad” philosophy into action. “Kiyosaki vaguely tells you what to do in the book. I give investors the step-by-step instructions they need to make these powerful ideas earn for them,” Ely said.

Among Ely’s most notable accomplishments is his ability to help average people earn well above average money in a very short period of time. “I taught my strategies to NFL coach Dave Durrell of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who then turned around and earned $ 45,000 in just 45 days,” Ely said.

“Flip Your Way To Financial Freedom” focuses on giving readers the motivation they need to see their dreams to fruition. “On average only about 2 in 10 of my students earn the kind of money they’re capable off. That’s because most people give up when they realize the hurdles that stand in their way. My book gives everyone the same motivation the lucky, wealthy 20 percent posses,” Ely said.

The book carefully explains the secrets to wholesaling real estate. Readers don’t need money, credit, or experience to make the plan work. “And you don’t have to risk your own money to invest. That’s a critical point. In the past only the wealthy could generate big money, but now anyone can get into the game without sacrificing their savings or home,” Ely said.

“Flip Your Way To Financial Freedom” along with a free mini-course and complimentary newsletter are all available at http://www.learntowholesale.com.

Award-Winning Novelist Chooses Tampa as the Setting for Forthcoming Book

Ipswich, Mass. (PRWEB) November 19, 2007

Twisted Justice, the follow-up to Patricia Gussin’s award-nominated debut, Shadow of Death, will be released by Oceanview Publishing on December 1, 2007. Twisted Justice (Oceanview Publishing, ISBN: 978-1-933515-08-3, $ 23.95) heralds the return of protagonist Laura Nelson.

While Gussin’s debut, Shadow of Deat, was set against the backdrop of the Detroit riots of 1967, Gussin, an acclaimed novelist who has practiced medicine and directed medical research in her role as worldwide vice president for a leading healthcare company, set her sights on an entirely new locale for Twisted Justice – Tampa, Florida.

According to Gussin, choosing Tampa as the setting was an easy choice: “The significance of setting this novel in Tampa is very personal. Tampa is the area that shaped my children’s early life and shaped my medical career.”

Although Gussin’s protagonist, Laura Nelson, is not autobiographical, the two do share some similarities. Gussin says that the setting, in many ways, helped her fully flesh out Laura’s character: “As an author writing about a surgeon with five children, it was very natural for me to reach back into my memories of Tampa to create the scenes in Twisted Justice. After medical school in Detroit, I moved with my four young children to the Tampa area where I was starting a residency at Tampa General Hospital. When I moved to Tampa, my children were ages 7, 4, 3 and 1. As a mother and a doctor, Tampa was where I learned to balance career and family. Having the advantage of being able to tap into that stage of my life helped me deepen the emotions of the characters and made the process of writing more natural. “

While Gussin, a Michigan native who divides her time between Longboat Key, Florida, and Amagansett, New York, could have easily chosen another setting for Twisted Justice, she says that Tampa was the only contender: “I never even considered setting the novel elsewhere. I have such fond memories of the area and my experiences there. When I finished my training at Tampa General, I moved to Dunedin to practice medicine at the Mease Clinic. Dunedin is a lovely town and I can’t think of a better clinical practice scenario for doctors or for patients than the Mease Clinic offered in the 1970’s. As for my kids, they owe their sports fanaticism to Dunedin Little League, the Cincinnati Reds spring training, then in Tampa, and of course the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reliving my experiences only made the writing process that much more enjoyable.”

Twisted Justice is a shocking tale of secrets, betrayal, and lives torn apart. From all appearances, Laura Nelson has it all – a fantastic career, five well-adjusted kids and a gorgeous prominent husband. But looks can be deceiving – and deceit can be deadly. A sexy, alluring, and provocative mystery, Twisted Justice delivers fiery hot action, pulse-pounding suspense, and a razor-sharp plot full of dangerous curves and tantalizing turns. Oceanview Publishing is an independent publisher based in Massachusetts. Twisted Justice will be available in better bookstores nationwide in December, 2007. Members of the news media wishing to request an advance review copy or an interview with Patricia Gussin, are asked to contact Maryglenn McCombs by phone – 615-297-9875 – or by email – maryglenn @ maryglenn.com
