Jet2.com Launch Flight to Latest Celeb Holiday Hotspot

(PRWEB) July 06, 2011

Jet2.com launch new route to Bodrum from Leeds Bradford as film stars and international footballers are pictured on its azure shore

In bygone times Bodrum was the playground for the elite and powerful; the likes of Cleopatra and Mark Anthony found its beauty alluring. Today, this appeal remains amongst the rich and famous.

In June the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas were spotted spending time in the city.

With the launch of Jet2.com?s latest route from their Leeds Bradford base it is anticipated that more holidaymakers will be joining the guest list of visitors to Bodrum.

Many Wonders to Behold

The Turquoise Coast that dominates much of Turkey?s southern coastline has always been held in high regard amongst holidaymakers. Bodrum only forms part of this illustrious stretch of luxurious and interesting resorts and towns. However, because it was formerly known as Halicarnassus and it houses one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Bodrum often corrals an interested clientele.

Many of the famous faces amongst these visitors are often found spending time around the harbour, where luxury yachts can be spotted, or popping into the many classy boutiques that adorn the main streets in the centre.

There is also a wealth of restaurants and bars to keep those with deep pockets and those with more modest budgets happy. This is one of the reasons that Bodrum retains its popularity and the moniker as the St Tropez of Turkey ? value for money.

It might attract a glamorous set of holidaymakers but it doesn?t abuse this. In fact a lot of the bars and shops can be quite modest. Norah Jones even worked in Bodrum once upon a time.

?An extremely popular location?

Jet2.com has now made this holiday destination more accessible with the launch of their Leeds Bradford route. Flights take off once a week and cost

Chicago,IL (PRWEB) January 9, 2008

Flyte Systems, the leading provider of airport flight information displays and digital signage content for the hospitality and convention center industries and related businesses, announced its FlyteBoard real-time airline arrival and departure information display screens are now installed at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Airport Hotel. FlyteBoard is one of four Flyte Systems service solutions that provide the traveling public with reliable flight information.

“Many of our guests travel to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, and knowing their flight status at DFW before they leave the hotel is important,” said Sharon Capka, Resident Manager of the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott Hotel. “There is no question that our guests and the airline crews who stay with us value the airport travel information we now provide because it adds a new convenience to their travel experience.” Flight information for Dallas/Fort Worth Airport is electronically transmitted to FlyteBoard displays via the property’s existing high-speed Internet connection.

Seahawks Tickets Set to Take Flight

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 3, 2008

Seattle Seahawks tickets go on sale this week as the NFL’s jewel of the Pacific Northwest embarks on its 33rd season. Sporting the NFL’s second longest playoff appearance streak (2003- 2007) the Seahawks are aiming to get back to their form of the 2005 season when they represented the NFC playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers in SuperBowl XL. Winning the SuperBowl this year would be a fitting tribute to the Seahawks coach, Mike Holmgren, who is in his final year of coaching the club.

With additions like former Dallas Cowboy running back Julius Jones, and Atlanta Falcon’s T.J. Duckett, the Seattle Seahawks have bolstered their offence with two solid running backs to complement one of the best defences in the league led by the Seahawk’s all-pro linebacker Lofa Tatupu.

You won’t want to miss your chance to be the famed “12th man” cheering with the throngs at Qwest Field – the NFL’s loudest stadium! Whether you’re sitting on the

50-yard line or up in the ‘HawksNest’ you can be a part of the game while you enjoy the grandeur of the Seattle skyline and surrounding mountains that serve as the backdrop to picturesque Qwest Field.

It’s sure to be an intensely competitive season ahead with visits from the new and improved St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals all leading up to a sure fire playoff teaser with the New England Patriots coming to Qwest Field on December 7.

So whether it’s the experience of attending a game at Qwest Field, cheering on the Seattle Seahawks to a 6th consecutive appearance in the playoffs, or to see visiting stars like Tom Brady, be sure to get your tickets soon, as the games are sure to sell-out quickly.

The pre-season begins on Saturday, August 16th with the Chicago Bears coming to play the Seattle Seahawks in a re-match their 2006 play-off match up. The home opener is on September 14th as the San Francisco 49ers make their way up the coast to take on the Seahawks.

Aerohead Aluminum Boats ?Phoenix? Takes Flight in the Nautical City of Seattle, Wash.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 6, 2006

There is more flying in Seattle, Wash., than Super Bowl fantasies about the Seattle Seahawks and the latest Boeing Jet. Aerohead Aluminum Boats has developed and launched its second class of vessels in less than 15 months with solid orders in a third class. Founder Travis Brandt, an ex-Coast Guard drug boat navigator and Iowa farm boy turned boat builder, dubbed the company Aerohead Aluminum Boats because of his bent toward aviation and the dream that it is possible to make a practical high speed, highly efficient, comfortable boat within reach of the serious boater.

?The name Aerohead really embodied the nautical and aviation aspects of what we are trying to do,? Travis said.

The newest model will be launched at 0630 on July 6 in Lake Washington near Seattle. The 30? long boat with a 10?6? beam boat, named ?Phoenix? by its owner, demands respect as an 11,000 pound high speed offshore Sport Utility Cruiser. The boat is hefty with all aluminum cabinetry instead of wood.

?Our customer base is not really looking for a yacht experience,? Travis explained. ?We find them to be younger families with children who want to really use the boat like they?d use a land rover. They?re into functionality, durability, and ease of maintenance, and they want something to take them out on even bad days and bring them and their loved ones back.?

From a design standpoint, the boat has all the necessary elements of fine aircraft — aeronautical engineering turned to hydrodynamic engineering. The designer is Jarek Kanios of North Vancouver, B.C.

Aerohead Aluminum Boats in general are designed to have the structural integrity of a military vehicle, the fun and agility of a wave runner, and the range of a small business aircraft. The company builds the boats in Auburn, WA and the boats are sold factory direct. Information on other offerings can be found on its Web site http://www.aeroheadboats.com.

The company is small enough that it is planning to continue construction on its backlog of orders now and increase production to meet demand. One of the greatest features of Aerohead Aluminum Boats is that if you are interested in having an Aerohead built for you, you deal directly with Travis.
