Da Factory Sends Team to Compete in Crossfit Miami Event at the 2011 Summer Crush Games

Da Factory Training Facility, a Miami-based training facility focused on improving athletic performance, announces its affiliate team?s acceptance in Miami?s CrossFit Competition: the Summer Crush Games. The Summer Crush Games will take place at the Magic City Casino on August 28, 2011.

The Summer Crush Games team is composed of four CrossFit athletes who have trained at the Da Factory Training Facility with owner Bruno Garcia and Head Trainer, Ronny Lindsay. Members include Israel Duenas, Ernie Guevara, Jessie Greb, and Andrea Lombardi.

Seeing the affiliate team accepted into the Summer Crush Games, Bruno Garcia says, ?I am proud to see our members participate in such a high-profile regional CrossFit event.? Head Trainer, Ronny Lindsay adds, ?This will be our second official competition. Our first official competition was Swamp Monster 2.0 where our members took first and third place in one division, and second and third place in another. We are very pleased to be at the competition level that we are considering that we opened this facility eight months ago.”

The Summer Crush Games includes four divisions: Scaled Male, Scaled Female, Male Rx, and Female Rx. Male and female divisions consist of the top athletes within the CrossFit community; the top teams will participate in the Team Division. The first WOD will begin at 8 a.m. and will finish around 7 p.m. with a trophy ceremony.

Concerning the competition, team member Andrea Lombardi says, ?Participating in this year?s Summer Crush Games is an honor and privilege. Having only started CrossFit four months ago, representing my second family, Da Factory, means far more than I could have envisioned. Being on the team gives me the opportunity to compete against top athletes from all over the CrossFit community.
