On February 17, 2006, the City of Orlando Recognizes its Favorite Son, Max Starks, Right Tackle of 2006 World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 18, 2006

Max Starks, former Florida Gator Standout and Right Tackle of the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers will received the key to the city from Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer at 9:30 am. Following the first of two pep rallies,, Max Starks will be a VIP guest at 12:00 noon at the annual UNCF luncheon at the Orlando Downtown Marriott. At 1:30 pm Max Starks jersey number 77 will be retired at Lake Highland and a special presentation will be made by the Orlando Magic organization, where Starks was a ball boy for four years.

Max Starks further distinquishes the “First Family of Football,” The Browner Brothers by being the only one of the clan to win a Super Bowl. Twenty Four years ago, Max was born. The birth of Starks was 14 days before his biological father Ross Bowner played his only Super Bowl against San Francisco 49ers. In that winless game, Ross Browner recorded the only sack in the game against Montana. Now the ghost of the Super Bowl past can rest, because there is a Super Bowl ring being minted. Next to the Refrigerator, Max Starks ring may be the biggest created.

Quieting the critics took no feat, when Max Starks and Alan Faneca broke the hole to give Willie Parker a place in Super Bowl History, the longest touchdown run in Super Bowl history. Although that was a huge story for the sports writers, the biggest story comes friday when Max Starks is recognized by his family, friends, neighbors, teachers, peers, coaches, Orlando elected officals and the City of Orlando.

Pittsburgh Website Promotion Company Lowers 2007 Internet Marketing Rates

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) January 19, 2007

Pittsburgh is known for a lot of things including its low cost of living, its affordable housing, and of course The Pittsburgh Steelers. However, people around the US are starting to recognize Pittsburgh for something else: Internet marketing and search engine optimization services. This is largely due to Eyeflow, an emerging Internet marketing company located in Pittsburgh’s South Hills.

Eyeflow is the brain child of Internet marketing guru Phil Laboon, a Pittsburgh native that has robust and extensive background in Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

After years of catering only to big business, Eyeflow has transitioned to offer Search Engine Optimization strategies that will give smaller businesses the opportunity to market their goods and services effectively without breaking the bank.

“I love Pittsburgh, and I wanted to help Pittsburgh businesses see the value of Internet Marketing,” said Phil Laboon, president, Eyeflow. “It can turn a small mom and pop business into an online super store in just a few months. This allows the small business to grow along with the aggressiveness of their Internet Marketing strategy. It’s just too cost effective to ignore.”

Eyeflow website promotion packages will now start as low as $ 999 and will include many of the popular services included in the larger plans. Although the beginner package is only $ 999, clients will still receive multiple article and press release submissions, niche directory submissions, as well as hand coded search engine optimization for the content and code of their website.

“I’m excited about opening our website promotion services to a wider audience. I think that by offering a beginner Internet Marketing package, we will be able to show off our Search Engine Optimization skills to Pittsburgh businesses that really need it,” said Jake Peterson

Director of Interactive Marketing, Eyeflow. “Many local Pittsburgh markets and national markets are wide open. This allows us to increase our clients’ business, which in turn, provides the client with more capital to market and operate on an even larger scale.”

Although Mr. Laboon didn’t say how long they would honor this new beginner web site promotion plan, he did say if they see positive results, they may extend the offer for several months. To see the details of the beginner search engine optimization packages visit http://www.eyeflow.com

About Eyeflow:

Eyeflow is a Pittsburgh, PA based Website Promotion Company that focuses on organic search engine optimization, driving more traffic, leads, and sales through websites. Eyeflow is one of the few Internet marketing companies in Pittsburgh that has an extensive client data base with positive results.

Eyeflow, a well respected Pittsburgh Website Promotion Company, has lowered its 2007 Internet Marketing Rates to reach a broader market. Beginner packages have been lowered from $ 7,000 to less then $ 1,000 but will still include article and press release submission, one way link building, and other effective organic website promotion and internet marketing techniques.

With its structured worldwide ad campaign, it?s destined to be a top ranked site for the sports/football community with its wide appeal.

A New Wave of Marketing has hit the internet called Micro Ads (pixel advertising). Imagine a webpage full of your team?s supporters from businesses to loyal fans all across the world bringing the love. This is a great marketing place for businesses no doubt but you can?t forget the tailgaters who would want to post pictures of the pre game fun or the big bowl day festivities or a blog of a kid who dreams of one day playing pro. This is a website for the fans to make there mark and show they are loyal to there team, win or lose. The micro ads you buy on the website could end up being worth an astounding amount of money in sales in a short amount of time. Cleverly placed ads and size will increase traffic to your website.

We have three teams in our challenge?.2005 AFC South Division Champions Indianapolis Colts, Super Bowl XL Champions Pittsburgh Steelers and 2005 NFC Conference Champions Seattle Seahawks. Simply choose your favorite team and get linked to your website. For as little as $ 10, you will become a part of history and your ad will be placed for a period of 5 years. That?s only $ 2 per year. A portion of revenue generated through The Million Fan Challenge to be donated to Riley Hospital of Indianapolis, IN, Children’s Hospital and Medical Center of Seattle, WA and Children?s Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA.

What is Micro Ads? -

What you see on your computer screen every day is millions of little dots that make up the letter, words and images on your screen. Each one of these dots is called a pixel. The average letter will fit into about a 10×10 square of pixels. These pixels are available to post your ad and

The pixels are available in 100-pixel ‘blocks’ (each measuring 10×10 pixels). The homepage is divided into 12,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (for a total of 1,200,000 pixels). The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything effectively.

You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as there are some available. When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed or an image that link to any pornographic sites. These sites are strictly not allowed.

14-year-old Singer/Actress Pens an Original Song for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Drive for 7

Studio City, CA (PRWEB) February 4, 2011

Keely Marshall is a 14-year-old singer/actress who relocated to Los Angeles from Tampa over a year ago to pursue her dreams of a singing and acting career. What she didn’t expect was to have musical success with a song about the Pittsburgh Steelers. While she has never lived in Pittsburgh her favorite football team is the Steelers due to her dad, Kevin Marshall having been raised an ardent Steelers fan in Pittsburgh.

After the Steelers defeated the New York Jets in the AFC Championship, Marshall set about writing a song for the Steelers and the Super Bowl. With some help from her dad, Marshall spent the next couple days coming up with a theme, a tune and lyrics. They settled on a title, DRIVE FOR 7, taken from the song’s catchy chorus. The song chronicles the Steelers meteoric rise in the 70’s and takes the team through their 6th Super Bowl win in “Tampa where I lived” on to their current match-up with the Green Bay Packers.

After recording the song on an HD video camera, with Marshall playing acoustic guitar, the video was uploaded on to her YouTube account. It soon caught fire when the elder Marshall, owner of an advertising agency in Tampa, posted the video link on various Steelers-themed Facebook pages and blogs.

In a week’s time the video has amassed over 11,000 views and comments from all over Steelers nation. Once planted on Facebook and Twitter, the video has been shared on Facebook over 1,400 times. A popular tween magazine, POPSTAR MAGAZINE (http://www.popstaronline.com/blog/entry/keely-marshall-roots-for-the-steelers/), posted the song on their website, alongside a picture of Marshall with teen-sensation, Justin Bieber. Several other teen/tween sites have posted the video on their sites, including the popular KIDZBOP (http://www.kidzbop.com).

Marshall’s video and song has caught the attention of former Steelers great, Jerome Bettis. Bettis commented on the video, “Great Song!” (http://www.facebook.com/thebus36). Current Steelers wide receiver, Emmanuel Sanders “liked” the video when he viewed it on his Facebook page.

Says Marshall, “I would love to perform my song at the Steelers victory parade after they win their 7th Lombardi trophy!” She goes on to say that she would also love to perform the national anthem at a Steelers home game in the future. Says Dad, “As if it wasn’t already exciting enough having my Steelers in the Super Bowl, this song has made it that much more fun!”
